Applying for family visas as a parent – your eligibility

  • Your child must be a British citizen or have permanent residence status
  • The child must be aged under 18 (at the time of application)
  • The custodial parent or legal guardian of your child must have British citizenship or PR status/an approved applicant EU Settlement Scheme
